This home is right on Owasco Lake. This is a newly constructed home as of May 2013. It is perfect for large family/friend gatherings or offers a wonderful couples retreat as well. Specatular views of the lake and 50 feet of waterfront for your enjoyment. This home is located perfectly for your convenience. Since it's conveniently located in the lake's eastern side, you can easily get to the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse or Emerson Park, as well as quickly drive to Skaneateles, Auburn or any of the area's wineries. Inside the home there is a large eat in kitchen with granite counter tops and all of the amenities. On the main level there is a family room and dining areas. The lake views from the main level are absolutely beautiful, you actually feel like you are right on the water. The second level offers a beautiful master bedroom that overlooks the lake. There are two other separate bedrooms as well. Outside there is over 50 feet of beautiful lakefront, beautiful deck, and dock which is perfect for sunbathing or just relaxing. The sprawling deck is great for large family gatherings and cookouts. The lake views from the deck are absolutely breathtaking. There are life jackets, fishing poles, outdoor patio furniture and lounge chairs available for your use.

NEW KITCHEN AND BATH 2016! This waterfront cottage has the perfect surroundings for a family getaway! Because it is the last cottage on a dead end, nature is all around you here! There are woods to walk through with a small waterfall and babbling brook that runs alongside the cottage. A long grassy front lawn can be used for all kinds of outdoor activities, and best of all the beach is level with no steps! There is a dock to keep your boat on if you decide to bring one or rent one. The walk out into the water is a fairly gradual one which is great for small children. The best thing about this beach is not only is it level, but there are no weeds growing here in the water so a pleasurable swim is in store. The beach consists of small flat rounded rocks. We also have a rowboat with life jackets you can use if you want to venture out in the lake a bit more! A short walking distance away (approx. 200 yards) is a a large green space (about 10 acres) with a small playground and room for all kinds of outdoor lawn activities that require a large space. A dirt path/private road runs along side it and is great for kids that bring bikes or scooters etc. or just for taking a nice walk! The approximately 1000 square foot cottage has a wonderful open floor plan and boasts a very spacious living and dining area great for conversation or relaxation with nice views of the lake and stream. The living room leads out to a deck on the lake side which has a grill, lounge furniture and dining with all the sounds of nature. The modern kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of cookware/utensils and is just off the dining room, which also has views of the lake through the living area. There are three small cottage sized bedrooms, one with a queen, another with two twins another with a double, and there is a queen sofa bed in the living room. We also have a rollaway bed (like a cot w/mattress- good for teens or kids) and you can place that where you like. The shade from the large old trees around the cottage and the lake breeze keep it nice and cool so there is really no need for air conditioning. We do have a couple of ceiling fans and portable oscillating fans you can place in the bedrooms or wherever you like. There is no furnace in the cottage but there is a portable space heater you can place where you like and also some electric blankets for chilly spring or fall nights.

On the water you will find a two person kayak to enjoy and 70' of dock to swim, fish or dock your own boat. The shore is stone rather than sand, and water shoes are recommended. The clarity and warmth of the water have often been praised by our visitors and friends. The water starts out just inches deep and very gradually deepens to about 3 1/2' to 4' at the end of the dock. swim out another 30' and your in about 7-10' of water. Owasco lake is the deepest at 155' in the middle of this glacier formed Fingerlake and has plenty of lake trout, small and large mouth bass, perch and walleye for the fisherman. Some of the best ice fishing can be had out front when the ice arrives in mid winter months. Fall is spectacular when the leaves turn to brilliant reds, oranges, yellows. Nearby you will find two public golf courses within minutes, mini-golf and ice cream are within a short walk, large chain grocery stores are about 10 minutes away, several choices of dining are available in the immediate area. If you enjoy theater, the Merry-Go-Round theater is about 2 miles away. Downtown Skaneateles offering dining and quaint shopping district is a gently drive about 10 minutes to the east. The world renowned Fingerlakes Wine Trail is a must. Also, nearby are hiking in beautiful gorges, hunting on state game land and snowmobiling in the winter months. If you just want a relaxing get away, or looking for year round activities - the home and area has plenty to offer. For Winter time stay- may require 4WD vehicles. There is a fire pit right on the edge of the lake where you can sit out and enjoy a moon rise. There are 6 steps down into the water from the front lawn. A few large shade trees here as well, making those hot summer days even more enjoyable after you come in off a full day on the lake. The large deck allows for barbecuing, eating outside or simply resting in a comfortable chair with a good book. We include 2 kayaks, a two-person canoe, and an aluminum fishing boat and motor, as well as life jackets. If you need to borrow a pole or two, or some tackle, you can help yourself. We have plenty of games and puzzles for those "occasional" rainy days. Camp Gramp is located directly across from Emerson Park. You can walk to the Merry-Go-Round Theater. THIS is THE BEST spot to view the whole lake from, you can watch weather coming up from the south end as you sit out on the deck. You'll hear the geese honking as they fly over and land on the lake. We have bald eagles and ospreys that may show off as they pluck a fish out from the shallows in front of the house on the water. Nature, relaxation and recreation can all be found at Camp Gramp!

Welcome to our 3 Bedroom summer cottage on beautiful Owasco Lake with 85 ft of private lakefront. The 1000sqft cottage has an open floor plan. Sliding glass door leads out to a large two tiered deck complete with a hot tub overlooking Owasco Lake. The deck has a dining table that seats six on one side of the deck and a cushioned seating area for 4. A picnic table on the side of the house provides extra seating. The lower level of the deck has a stainless gas grill and two deck chairs on one side, with a gate on the other side to step directly into the hot tub. Stairs leading down to the waterfront bring you to a 15X50 deck at the waters edge that has lounge chairs, table, plenty of seating and a refrigerator. 50ft of dock extending out into the lake has plenty of room for your boat or jetski. Your kitchen is efficient and completely equipped for cooking all meals. (although we find the grill to be the primary "kitchen" during the warmer months!) There is a Bosch dishwasher, double Kohler sink/faucet, microwave, gas range, and refrigerator. We also provide guests initial supplies of the "basics". This includes coffee, coffee filters, dish detergent, dish soap, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, tissues, paper towels, napkins, toilet paper, non-stick spray, olive oil, salt/pepper, and sugar. There is a PRIMO water cooler with five gallon Primo water bottles in the kitchen that dispenses cold, room temperature, and hot water. We provide one 5 gallon primo water bottle for every two days of stay. (i.e. 5 night stay would have three water bottles) Down the steps to the beach, you will find a sturdy dock to fish and the beach has walk-in areas for swimming with a 2 foot seawall along the remaining edge. At the end of the beach, there is a 4 foot seawall raised area with a fire pit. We provide firewood for small beach fires and smores fun! As with most northern lakes, the beach and lake bottom are rocky and we recommend water shoes at all times. Since the yard is very spacious, you do have to walk approximately 100 yards (length of a football field) down the gently sloping property to the beach. It's a nice gradual walk out into the water and is about three feet deep at the end of the dock, which is great for kids- no drop offs. There are two kayaks with life-jackets for your use. There is a sand beach across the street which is private to the house. We are very excited to share our love for this house and all that went into the renovation. This rental property is a 4 bedroom home with 3 full bathrooms. There is a full kitchen, living room, dining room, and a room off the living room that is referred to the "golf" room. There are 4 bedrooms that consist of two queen beds, a king bed, and the fourth bedroom has two twin beds as well as a pull out couch in the "golf" room. There is a front deck and a back patio that are accessable from the "golf" room. There is a smart flatscreen tv in both the living and "golf" room that run off of the Roku as well as wi-fi. The guests have full access to the house as well as the left side of the garage to store things during their stay. Please note that the owners have access to the right side of the garage as well as the right side property. This rental comes with the property that the house sits on as well as 100 feet of beach front. The owners own 200 feet of land, 100 for the house guests and 100 for the owners. The house will be your home away from home, with a large kitchen/dining room that features a 12-seat table to enjoy a family meal or host a game night. Sliding French doors take you to a comfortable family room with several couches, chairs, and TV to read a book or watch a movie. The ground floor has three bedrooms, including a master with a king bed and a full bathroom. The other two bedrooms (queen bed and full bed) share a full bathroom. The second floor has an open area with large bean bag seats and TV, a full bathroom, a bedroom with a full and twin beds, and a second bedroom with two twin beds. While the house accommodates 10 sleeping in beds, there are also two air mattresses for the extra large families. The backyard has spectacular views of the lake, with a large brick patio that seats 14 as well as a deck directly overlooking the lake. Take a single flight of stairs down to a private dock to access the lake, where you can swim or fish. The water is approximately 3 feet deep all the way to the end of the dock, then gradually gets deeper as you go farther out, so it’s a great spot for kids and adults alike to enjoy the water. There are three kayaks and a paddle board for your use. If you want something bigger and faster, you can rent a boat from the local marina. There is also a campfire pit located at the edge of the lake for roasting marshmallows with the family! If relaxing is your main goal, take a nap in the hammock while enjoying the lake views. The front has a long flat grass field (approximate 400 feet) that is a safe place for the kids to play kickball, soccer or other outdoor activity. There is also a basketball hoop and the driveway is large enough to easily fit five cars. All the comforts of home – high speed internet, sheets, blankets, towels (for bath and lake), and all kitchen supplies are provided.
